Purpose, composition and release form of the fungicide Pergado
The antifungal drug was developed and registered by the Swiss company "Syngenta", the official representative of which in Russia is LLC "Syngenta". It contains inorganic active ingredients:
- copper oxychloride;
- mandipropamide.
Pergado comes in the form of granules that dissolve in water. Most often it is packaged in packages of 5-6 kilograms. Designed to protect grapes from mildew, black rot and other diseases. Effectively protects vegetable plants from the development of bacteriosis, downy mildew.
How does the drug work?
An aqueous solution of the drug penetrates into the plant through the leaves, buds and ovary. Forms a protective film under the layer of cutin wax-like substance. This slows down mycelium growth and prevents spore formation and maturation.
The drug works at the cellular level. It stops the formation of cell membranes. Effectively disrupts metabolic processes in fungal cells, their spores.
Advantages and disadvantages
The benefits include:
- Granular form of release that does not produce dust.
- Excellent solubility in water.
- The combination of active ingredients prevents the development of resistance.
- Stable on the plant, not washed off by rain.
- Able to protect the growing parts of the plant.
- Effectively and quickly acts even at low temperatures, it is found in plant tissues after 2-3 hours.
- When used on grapes, it does not affect the fermentation and taste of the wine.
Disadvantages:
- The prepared solution cannot be stored for a long time.
- The high cost of one package weighing 5-6 kg.
Consumption rate for different plants
Despite the fact that exceeding the norm does not have a detrimental effect on the treated crops, the amounts indicated in the table should be adhered to.
Culture | Disease | Consumption per one hundred square meters g / 10l | Protection period in days | Last treatment before harvest in days | Multiplicity of treatments |
Grapes | Mildew and other diseases | 35 | 21 | 50 | 3 |
An Apple | Scab | 35 | 21 | 30 | 3 |
Peach | Curly leaves | 35 | 21 | 30 | 3 |
Potato Tomatoes | Late blight Leaf spot | 35 | 14 | 40 | 3 |
Cucumbers | Gray rot | 35 | 14 | 20 | 2 |
Onion | Peronosporosis | 35 | 14 | 20 | 3 |
Working solution preparation method
To make a working solution, you need settled water at room temperature. To process one hundred square meters of landings you need:

The resulting working solution must be consumed during the day.
Instructions for use of the fungicide Pergado
It is recommended to apply the diluted working solution at an air temperature not lower than +5 and not higher than +30 degrees. The first spraying is desirable at the beginning of the growing season. For vegetable crops, this is the formation of 1-2 pairs of true leaves, for grapes - the end of flowering and berry ovary.
Subsequent treatments are carried out with an interval of 14-21 days, three times per season. In some cases, the plant is sprayed additionally after hail or dust storms.

The degree of toxicity of the agent
The preparation contains copper. It is considered moderately toxic to humans. It belongs to substances of the 3rd hazard class. Has no proven carcinogenic properties.
Consider the direction of the wind when processing plants. And also the proximity of reservoirs, sources of drinking water, places of detention, grazing animals.
Compatibility with other drugs
Pergado can be combined with other means used at the same time. Its quantity decreases, and the efficiency increases in tank mixtures prepared from 2-3 preparations.
In each case, when mixing substances in one tank, they must be checked for compatibility.
