Fungicide called "Thanos" belongs to the category of effective drugs used for the treatment and prevention of late blight and alternaria disease of various crops - sunflower, potato and tomato. It is also effective against onion and mildew attack on grapes. The product is used for primary treatment of plants at the stage of the appearance of the first leaves.

Composition and form of release
Fungicide "Thanos" is made in the form of granules that dissolve well in water. Produced in plastic containers in packaging of 400 g. The product consists of cymoxanil and famoxadone. The first substance is a strong contact preparation designed to get rid of Alternaria and late blight.
It is endowed with the ability to destroy disease spores by forming a protective layer that prevents re-infection.
Cymoxanil is a systemic-local drug used for prophylactic and therapeutic purposes. It also has protective properties, prevents the progression of the disease by accumulating in the soil.
How Thanos Works
Cymoxanil is a substance transported in a downward flow, so the fungicide is evenly distributed throughout the plant. This agent is able to stop the development of the disease by encapsulating the affected plant cells.
The second substance, famoxadone, can penetrate under the skin of the leaves and stay in the wax layer of the cuticle. Therefore, the preparation is resistant to moisture.

For spraying the vines, take 4 g of the product per 10 l, and for onions - 12 g per 10 l.

Grapes
In order to prevent mildew, grapes are sprayed during the growing season. No more than 3 can be carried out during the spraying season. The first application of the substance is preventive. Subsequent ones are carried out in the interval from 1 week to two. For 1 sq. m - 100 ml of solution, the consumption of 0.04 g of the substance is provided. Its action is designed for a period of about 1 month.
Potatoes
For 1 hundred square meters, 6 g of the product is enough, which is dissolved in water (4 l). Processing is carried out in the evening or morning, on windless dry days, at least 2 hours before the start of rain. Up to 4 treatments with Thanos can be carried out per season.
Tomatoes
Tomatoes are sprayed during the growing season. The first treatment is carried out when the rows close, the second - when the buds begin to ripen, the third - when flowering ends, the last - during the period when a bountiful harvest appears. For 1 sq. m - 40 ml of solution.
Sunflower
Sunflower is also processed during the growing season. No more than 2 sprays are allowed per season. The first is preventive, during the appearance of leaves. The next is during the ripening of the buds. For 1 sq. m - 1 ml of solution.
Bulb onions
When spraying onions, only the feather is processed. 4 treatments per season. The first is prophylactic before flowering. The next treatments - after 10 days. For 1 sq. m - 40 ml of solution. Action time - 2 weeks.
Cucumbers
The number of treatments - up to 4. There should be at least 14 days between spraying. To protect the cucumbers as much as possible, the Thanos fungicide is alternated with other similar products.
Cautions when working with Thanos
Thanos is a chemical hazard class 3 agent. When working with it, the protective measures are the same as when working with other fungicides. Wear tight, long-sleeved clothing, goggles, latex gloves, a respirator, and closed shoes.
If a solution of any concentration gets on the skin, immediately rinse the affected area with plenty of water. If the solution gets into the eyes, they are also rinsed with clean running water. If the agent gets inside, immediately drink several glasses of water with activated charcoal (6-10 tablets).
In more severe cases, if vomiting or nausea occurs, immediately call an ambulance. In this case, it is necessary to provide the medical team with a label for accurate identification of the drug, due to which the body was poisoned.
Toxicity
The fungicide "Thanos" is moderately toxic to bees and other beneficial insects. It is also not considered toxic to the inhabitants of ponds and streams. Although, of course, you cannot pour the remains of the substance into water bodies.
Combination with other drugs
Before carrying out treatment and preventive measures, you must first determine whether the fungicide is compatible with other agents. This is done to avoid loss of funds and crops. The drug is not compatible with alkaline agents. Thanos is not used in combination with neutral and acidic plant protection products. It is compatible with "Kurzat R", "Titus", "Karate", "Aktara", VKG, "Reglon super", MKS and other drugs that have a similar composition.
Expiration date and storage rules
The drug can be stored in the manufacturer's packaging for up to 2 years if the temperature conditions are from 0 to 30 degrees. It must be kept in a dark, dry place out of the reach of children.The prepared mixture can be stored for no more than 1 day. After that, it cannot be used.
