What insects can you get rid of with valerian tincture?
The problem of pests on cabbage is very worrisome for many gardeners and gardeners. The fight is made difficult by the fact that the parasites crawl inside the fork and hide under the leaves. For a long time, they may not show themselves in any way, and the gardener may not realize that a significant part of the crop has already been damaged.
Most often, the following insects can be found in cabbage beds:
- Shitty leaf beetle.
The horseradish leaf beetle, or as it is also called, babanukha, is a tiny bug with black wings with a greenish-metallic sheen and brown legs. In June, females gnaw shallow holes in the leaves and lay their eggs there, from which the larvae hatch.
- Green baride.
Barid is a small bug with a body diameter of about 3-4 mm, a deep blue shade with a metallic sheen. The wings of the parasite are covered with grooves. The main sign of its appearance on the bushes is the yellowing of the leaves and the formation of small growths on them.
- Whitefly
Another common parasite that can often be found on cruciferous crops. The whitefly is very similar in appearance to the molar Lepidoptera. The body is white or red-yellow.
- Spring cabbage fly.
Outwardly similar to an ordinary fly, only smaller. Fly larvae feed on cabbage leaves.

Cabbage heads must be periodically inspected for the presence of these insects and at the first signs of appearance they can be sprayed with valerian.
Valerian with soap from pests
One of the most effective remedies against pests is a solution of valerian pharmacy with the addition of soap. You can use regular liquid soap, but it is better to use laundry soap.

If it rains heavily after a few days, re-treatment is required.
