Gamavit is an immunocorrecting drug for rabbits. This medicinal product is intended to improve the resilience of animals. It is a complex of the most important vitamins, minerals and amino acids. The drug helps rabbits to quickly overcome infectious or viral diseases, to survive during epidemics. The drug is prescribed to animals from the first week of life.
Description of the drug "Gamavit"
An injection solution called Gamavit can be bought at any veterinary pharmacy. This drug is used to increase the natural resistance of the rabbit organism, as well as for immunocorrection and reduce the negative effects of intoxication. Gamavita injections help to enrich the body of animals with precisely those substances that mobilize internal resources to fight diseases.
The preparation contains a complex of vitamins most important for rabbits (A, C, D, group B), minerals, as well as a number of useful amino acids. The main active ingredients of this drug are denatured emulsified placenta and sodium nucleinate. The medicine is a clear, reddish liquid. "Gamavit", as a rule, is packaged in glass bottles of 2, 5, 10 ... 450 ml. The drug is sold in its original packaging, but it can be purchased individually.
Indications and contraindications for use
Gamavit has a unique composition that allows it to be used for prophylactic and therapeutic purposes. The medicine normalizes metabolic processes, improves the bactericidal activity of blood serum. The use of this agent increases the immunity of rabbits, reduces the mortality of newborn young animals, increases the vitality of the growing offspring.

How to use rabbit cleaner correctly
Gamavita injections are given to adult rabbits to stimulate growth, pregnant rabbits to improve their immunity and fetal health, as well as newborn rabbits, especially those who are artificially fed. In each such case, the prescribed dosage is adhered to.
Pets are injected into the raised withers or mid-thigh. The drug can be administered intramuscularly, subcutaneously, and even intravenously. It is allowed to drink especially aggressive rabbits with this agent diluted in water (dose: 2 times more than with injection, per 1 liter of liquid, once a day, for 1-7 days).

Important! "Gamavit" is injected into rabbits in small doses, therefore, in order to increase the volume of the preparation, it is diluted with saline (sodium chloride). Insulin syringes are used for injection. The amount of "Gamavit" can be increased with saline only by one small division of the syringe.
Side effects
Gamavit is not a panacea for all possible infectious or viral diseases. This is a remedy for maintaining immunity, not for treating animals. The drug will help rabbits cope with a serious illness or recover faster after vaccinations, childbirth, stress.
"Gamavit" does not cause any negative consequences, if you do not exceed the dosage indicated in the instructions. The drug can cause allergies, but the likelihood of individual intolerance is very low.
Storage of the drug
Gamavit is stored at room temperature for 1 year from the date of manufacture. You can keep the medicine in the refrigerator, but not let it freeze. The expiration date is indicated on the packaging and on the preparation itself.
An open bottle of medicine must be stored in the refrigerator for no more than a day. It is better not to open the cork, but to pierce it with a needle and draw the required amount of solution through it. In this case, "Gamavit" can stand in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.
Important! The medicinal product must not be used after the expiration date. The color of the preparation should only be red, not yellow.
