In veterinary pharmacies and pet stores you can find such a drug as fodder sulfur. It is a lemon yellow powder. In appearance it resembles corn flour. It is added to the feed or water of birds and made from it ash baths to get rid of parasites. Sulfur is taken as a preventive measure to improve digestion, cleanse the respiratory system, and increase the tone of the nervous system.
The powder helps to get rid of toxins, worms. The nutrients in the feed are better absorbed after taking the drug. The bird begins to eat less, but gains weight faster. The egg production of laying hens increases. Sulfur is prescribed for the treatment of aperiosis, that is, in the absence or during the loss of feathers.
This powder is poorly soluble in water. In the presence of liquid or organic matter, sulfur forms sulfurous anhydrite, hydrogen sulfide, oxygen and sulfurous alkalis. - for 10 adult layers - 1 gram once a day.

Excessive amount of powder can lead to chicken poisoning. It is better to measure a substance on an electronic scale. Usually the drug is given on the basis of the entire herd.
Sulfur can be used to get rid of feather mites and parasites. Birds are given ash and sand baths. The components are taken in the same proportions. Add 100 grams of sulfur to a bucket of ash mixture.
Storage rules
