Description of the Pani Yana tomato variety, its characteristics and yield
It is difficult to imagine our table without tomatoes. In the second half of the summer season, any gourmet tastes tomatoes both in solo performance - with and without salt, and in combination with other vegetables - with cucumbers or bell peppers. Among the many different tomato crops, it is worth noting Pani Yan's tomato of Siberian origin. It is adapted to the difficult climatic conditions of Russia and belongs to the early maturing (superdeterminant), high-yield varieties.
The bush of this tomato can reach a height of up to half a meter over time, without needing to be pinned. The overgrowth garter to the support is optional, but desirable. On the bush of the variety, on average, up to five full-fledged brushes of tomatoes are formed. It is noteworthy that tomatoes are so hefty when the bushes are relatively short!
Fruit characteristics
The fruits of the Pani Yana variety grow very tasty, round in shape, dense in constitution, with a smooth glossy skin. Ripening, they become pinkish, and the weight of each of them reaches 200 grams. It is noteworthy that even overripe, the fruits do not crack. These tomatoes are versatile: they can be eaten both fresh and marinated.
Pani Yan's description cannot do without brief information on the plant's resistance to key tomato diseases. Due to its rapid maturation, the culture successfully avoids phytophthora. Also, plantings must be protected from cicadas and aphids. To do this, greens are sprayed with non-toxic agents such as "Aktofit", "Fas" or "Karbofos".
Landing affairs
Seedlings are planted in boxes almost two months before the intended transplantation into the ground. The normal constant temperature for seed germination should be plus 25 degrees Celsius.
When transplanting to the beds, you must wait for the ground to warm up well. Pani Yan's tomatoes love abundant watering and need feeding with complex mineral fertilizers. Planting scheme: 70 by 30 centimeters with a planting density of 5-6 units per square meter.
Tomato reviews
Opinions about Pani Yana are varied, but overall, with a positive coloration. Basically, reviews of Pani Yan's delicious tomato agree on one thing: this tomato is a worthy sample in taste and in terms of yield.
The following fact is also noted: very large fruits ripen on the plants, and to such an extent heavy that sometimes you have to tie up each brush so that the branches do not break. All respondents repeat what we have already mentioned above: tomatoes of this variety are equally good both when freshly consumed and after canning.
Women also mention the outer side of the fruit, write about their attractiveness, spherical shapes, pleasant skin color, and in support of their words post photos of their own production.
People also pay attention not only to the excellent characteristics of the culture, but also to the fact that the seed products are stylishly and beautifully packed in plastic bags with fasteners, with colorful photographs and detailed instructions on a cardboard backing. A strong marketing ploy - in such a spectacular form, you want to buy seeds and experiment in your garden, achieving a good harvest.
An excellent variety, the fruits are large and juicy. But in harsh weather conditions, reaping a rich harvest is not an easy task. I am from Siberia, our summer can be both hot and cold. If we get lucky. Therefore, we plant tomatoes exclusively in greenhouses.
