When growing crops, you often have to deal with diseases. But not every drug helps to quickly cope with the problem. Sometimes you have to try several chemicals to find an effective one. For example, you can use the fungicide "Abacus Ultra", having previously studied the instructions for use.

Composition, purpose and form of release of funds

The drug "Abacus Ultra" refers to premium chemicals. The main purpose of the drug is to protect crops from various diseases. Also, treatments contribute to an increase in yield and grain quality. The use of the chemical helps to increase the immunity of the plant.

The chemical is released in the form of a highly concentrated liquid. It contains two active substances. The first is pyraclostrobin. The second chemical is epoxiconazole. The amount of both substances in the fungicide is the same. Thanks to these substances, plants do not consume nutrients to fight against unfavorable factors (diseases, bad climate).

The mechanism of action of the fungicide

Due to the content of epoxiconazole, fungi cannot form cell membranes due to the formation of ergosterol. The mechanism of action is as follows:

1. First, the growth of fungi is blocked.
2. Then they stop developing.

The second component in the composition blocks the formation of mitochondria. Prevents energy from entering cells.

Preparation of working solution

For the treatment of spring and winter wheat, 1.75 liters of fungicide are used per 1 ha of sown area, diluted in 300 liters of water. Treatments prevent the appearance of powdery mildew, rust and spotting.

For spraying corn, the dosage of the drug is increased."Abakus Ultra" is used once per growing season. It helps prevent rust, root rot and pyrenophorosis.

For the processing of soybeans, use 1.5 liters of the drug per 1 ha. For these soybean crops, preventive spraying is required. This is due to the fact that signs of disease become noticeable when it is no longer possible to cure the plants.

The same amount as for soybeans is used when processing beets. If brown spots appear on the foliage, treatments are immediately carried out. Spraying is done during the budding period.

How to use the drug

Having studied the instructions for use, you can get to work. The working solution must be used immediately after its preparation. Even if there is a lot of liquid left, it is not recommended to reuse it. During the growing season, 2-3 treatments are carried out. The drug begins to act after treatment in about 35-40 days. After spraying, do not touch the plants or eat fruits for about 3-5 days.

Precautions when working with the product

The toxicity class of the drug is 3rd, so if you follow the minimum protective measures, it is not dangerous. Before spraying, you need to wear old, closed clothing so that there are no exposed areas of the body. It is also advisable to wear glasses and a mask so that the solution does not get on the mucous membranes.

The area should be sprayed on a dry, windless day, so that the solution from the wind does not spray in different directions.

If the solution gets inside, you must immediately take an absorbent. In contact with the skin, it is thoroughly washed with running water and soap. If the solution gets into the eyes, they are washed with plenty of running water. If complications appear after a while, an urgent need to consult a doctor.
