Active ingredient, formulation and purpose
The active ingredient in the herbicide is glyphosate, otherwise referred to as isopropylamine salt. Its amount is 360 g per liter. The chemical class of the compound is organophosphorus substances.
It is produced in the form of an aqueous solution, which is distributed in 1 liter bottles with 2 holes and a dispenser.
It is used when it is necessary to comprehensively harvest weeds, to facilitate the mechanical removal of sunflower, flax, as well as representatives of grain crops. It is also used as a desiccant.
How the drug works
Within 6 hours after the procedure, there is an intensive absorption of the substance by the shoots of weeds and a rapid transition of the absorbed solution to the roots. Glyphosate acts as an inhibitor of amino acid synthesis, inhibits the formation of protein compounds. Since this is one of the most important vital processes, the body is unable to exist and dies.

If chlorosis spots are formed on the leaves of the weeds, this means that the working solution has been absorbed and started to act.
The first signs appear the very next day after the event is completed.
Annual plants die within 3 days after treatment. For perennials, it will take more time - 4 days. Small trees and shrubs die only after 1 month.
Duration of protective action
The herbicide "Zeus" is capable of acting for 1 month, but in favorable weather a longer effect is observed.

Important! If processing of non-agricultural areas is envisaged in order to get rid of annual, perennial weeds, concentrate (100 ml per 10 liters of water) should be consumed not more than 4.5 liters per hectare.
How to make and use the drug correctly
To prepare the liquid, remove the upper part of the lid on the bottle, press the container several times to send a sufficient amount of liquid to the dispenser, and pour the required dose of the drug into a ten-liter container with water.
Use a working solution when the temperature values exceed 5 degrees in the morning and evening hours with low humidity and no strong winds.
It is recommended to spray grapes, citrus fruits, fruit crops during the growing season of annual weeds in the spring or in the summer months. At the stage of intensive growth of perennial weeds from May to June.
The processing of fields where corn and beets will grow in the future should be carried out 15 days before the planned planting of crops. It is important to apply the herbicide 5 days before the potatoes emerge.
Before planting sunflowers, soybeans and cabbage, take care of the procedure a week in advance.
