Composition, purpose and form of release of the fungicide "Collis"

The main components of the preparation of fungicidal action:

• 200 g / l boscalid;
• 100 g / l kresoxim-methyl.

Boscalid belongs to the chemical group of carboxamides and has a mechanism of action that extends to a specific spectrum of the pathogen. Kresoxim-methyl inhibits mitochondrial respiration due to the suppression of cytochrome c reductase activity.

The drug is produced in the form of a suspension concentrate in plastic cans from 1 to 10 liters. It is prescribed for the treatment of powdery mildew at any stage in different grape varieties.

How does the drug work?

During processing, some components of the fungicide remain on the surface of the plant, providing reliable protection against resistance and damage by other pathogens, while other substances pass into the body and spread through the conducting system in search of the pathogen. The essence of the action of the fungicide is to inhibit the mitochondrial cycle.
