Instructions for use of the fungicide Talendo, mechanism of action and consumption rate

"Talendo" is a new fungicide with instructions for combating fungal diseases. It is used for the vineyard against powdery mildew, also effective for the apple tree. The one-component formulation with long lasting effect is characterized by good protection against diseases. It is used as a prophylaxis and for the treatment of diseases.

Composition, purpose and form of release

Consists of proquinazide at a concentration of 200g / l. It is produced by the Ducon company. The main purpose is the fight against vineyard mildew. It is no less effective against other fungal diseases.

Releases in the form of a concentrated emulsion. The container volume is different: 5 ml, 10 ml, 25 ml, 100 ml, 1l, 5l.

Important! For a small vineyard, 2-3 ampoules are enough for the whole season.

The mechanism of action of the fungicide "Talendo"

"Talendo" stops the development of axospores and conidia of fungal bodies. The active substance penetrates into the tissues of grape leaves and creates a barrier to the penetration of fungal body parts into them. Thus, the development of pests' appresoria is stopped.

If the leaf has already been damaged, then the fungicide stops the further course of the disease. Gradually, the plant is restored and healed. True, in this case, treatments are carried out more often.

Pros and cons of the remedy

The Talendo tool has its own advantages and disadvantages. On the positive side, they note:

• high efficiency;
• the effect lasts 14 days;
• suitable for treatment and prevention;
• low consumption;
• does not lend itself to washing off during rains.

The disadvantages include the presence of a hazard class for humans, water bodies and bees. Also, the tool requires the use of precautions.

The drug persists for a long time on leaves and grapes, does not lend itself to rain and is completely excreted in 14 days.

Consumption rate for various plants

For vineyard processing, 0.175 l / ha of concentrated emulsion is consumed. In diluted form, 1000 liters of working solution are consumed per hectare of area. For an apple tree, the consumption rate is the same. The tool is economical. A small amount of the drug is needed to treat a large area.

Preparation and use of working solution

The instructions for use, which is located on the back of the package, describe in detail the action of the fungicide and the rate of its consumption in accordance with the name of the crop. Prepare the solution as follows:

1. The required amount of concentrate is poured into the working container.
2. Add 1/3 of the required volume of water.
3. Stir the solution using a wooden or glass stick.
4. During work, use a hood, rubber gloves and respiratory protection.

The use of a working solution provides several rules:

• spraying is carried out using a spray gun;
• the middle of the day is suitable for processing, hot calm weather;
• it is prohibited to use Talendo if there is a reservoir or apiary nearby;
• it is forbidden to eat or smoke during work;
• the hair is covered with a cap;
• rubberized shoes with closed toes are put on their feet;
• protect the respiratory tract with a mask or respirator, and eyes with transparent glasses;
• it is advisable to put a rubber or cellophane apron on top of the clothes.

After the end of the work, the containers are washed with soapy water and soaked, the rest of the mixture is disposed of, the clothes are washed after processing, and they take a shower.

Talendo is suitable for combining with other pesticides. It is mixed at the same time with insecticides for preventive spring treatment. Pairs well with:

• cymoxanil;
• mancozeb;
• famoxadone;
• flusilazole;
• methomyl;
• lufenuron.

Storage

The remains of the drug are stored until the next season in a tightly closed container with a dense white wall. They choose a place that is inaccessible to children and pets. It is forbidden to store near food products and medicines.

The working solution must be consumed within 24 hours. Further, its effectiveness and effect are lost.
