Signs of the disease include sores, cracks and bumps. As the concentration of starch in the tubers decreases, the taste changes. Scab requires warm and dry weather. Minimize plant infestation with fungicides. Treatment of tubers before planting with Prestige or a similar preparation also gives high efficiency. Prevention is liming of the soil.
Rhizoctonia
Visually affected root crops look like this: they have black spots, as if the remains of the soil have dried. Plants, under the influence of the disease, when shoots appear, have blackened stems, which leads to the death of the bushes.
