Atony

The most dangerous for young animals is the acute form of pathology caused by the migration of larvae.
With the development of the disease, there is general weakness, blanching of the mucous membranes, impaired digestive functions in the form of constipation and diarrhea. There is also swelling of the limbs, abdomen and dewlap, urine turns red, hair falls out.
Piroplasmosis is considered another dangerous disease. It is caused by blood-parasitic unicellular organisms - babesia. They infect red blood cells, which provokes lysis. Infection is observed with a tick bite. 5-12 days after the bite, the temperature rises to 42 degrees, severe weakness occurs, the frequency of heart and breathing increases. The kids also suffer from constipation, scar hypotension, and cloudy urine.
With this diagnosis, infusion therapy is performed. In this case, saline, glucose with a concentration of 5%, "Gemodez" is injected intravenously. Specific therapy includes a 5% Azidin solution.
Diagnostic measures

- do not allow a sudden transition of pets from one food to another;
- mix roughage with succulent ones;
- give animals only clean and fresh water;
- provide the kids with active walks lasting at least 2 hours.
