"Solikox" is a transparent, light yellowish liquid preparation intended for introduction into the digestive tract. The active ingredient - diclazuril (2.5 ml per 1 ml of the product) kills all types of coccidia parasitizing in the body of rabbits.
Diclazuril is low-toxic, gives a therapeutic result already in small doses, even if the substance is exceeded by 25-50 times, it does not give side effects. Does not cause mutations, cell degeneration. It does not affect embryos, so pregnant females can be fed with it.
"Solikox" can be used simultaneously with other coccidiostatics, any antibiotic agents, feed additives. Diclazuril does not remain in the tissues, as indicated in the instructions, rabbits can be slaughtered within 5 days after soldering.
The manufacturer of "Solikoks" is the Kharkov chemical enterprise LLC "AT Biopharm". The drug is poured into 10 ml and 1 liter polyethylene bottles. Small vials are packed in 10 pieces in a carton box.
Instructions for use and dosage
The purpose of "Solikoks" is prevention and therapy of coccidiosis in rabbits, pigs, goats and sheep, cattle, poultry. The drug is non-toxic, you do not have to worry that rabbits will be poisoned, toxic effects do not occur even with their sensitive gastrointestinal tract and weak immune system.
Attention! The drug has a faint odor, rabbits smell it well, so some animals are reluctant to drink the drug. After distributing Solikox solution, you need to make sure that all the rabbits are drunk, it is convenient for small rabbits to give it from a syringe.
For treatment
"Solikox" is given to rabbits according to the scheme: 0.4 ml for each 1 kg of live weight. They are given either in pure form, without diluting anything, or in an aqueous solution for drinking. The finished solution can remain in the drinkers for no longer than 0.5 days from the moment of distribution. The treatment course is 2 days.
The dosage of a coccidiostatic is 1 mg of diclazuril per 1 kg of rabbit weight per day. Mix the product with water in a ratio of 1 to 10. Pour the product into the water, but not vice versa. The drug is given already at the first obvious signs of the disease, both for young and adult animals. Allowed for use on pregnant and lactating animals.
For prevention
To prevent the development of coccidiosis, rabbits are soldered at the age of only 1 month. Babies are given the drug on the 1st day, 0.2 ml for each, the next 2 days, the dose is increased by 0.1 ml. Adult rabbits are soldered with Solikoxom once a month - 2 ml for each individual.
What are the side effects
"Solikox" is harmless, diclazuril does not remain long in the body of rabbits, does not accumulate in tissues at all. There were no side effects, even with a significant overdose.
Because of its non-toxicity and efficacy, the drug can be given to rabbits if coccidiosis is suspected until a diagnosis is made. You may need other drugs, but Solikox will not harm rabbits.
