Planting seeds
To speed up the harvesting process, Zyatek f1 cucumbers can be grown in seedlings. This method is also used in cooler climates.
Note! Hybrid seeds cannot be obtained from cucumbers grown on your site. They are bought in specialized stores or purchased online.
Coated seeds do not require special preparation. But in other cases, they are sorted and disinfected before sowing. Then they are hardened and soaked to facilitate pecking. For growing seedlings, seeds are planted in containers in early April. The soil is used special for seedlings, purchased in shops for gardeners or in a flower stall.
The seeds are placed in grooves to a depth of about 2 cm. Then the container is watered abundantly with warm water. For the next month, it is necessary to ensure that the plants are in comfortable conditions (no drafts and at an average temperature). After 30 days, 3-4 leaves will appear. At this time, the seedlings are considered ready for further transplantation into the ground. Do not plant seeds too early.
They are planted in a greenhouse in mid-May, and for planting in open areas, they should be kept for another 15 days.

It can be grown both in a residential environment and in a heated greenhouse. Seeds germinate at a temperature of + 25 + 30 degrees. Approximately 7 days before planting seedlings in the ground, they are hardened. At the same time, the temperature drops briefly by 3-5 degrees.
Planting in soil and plant care
The preparation of the beds is carried out by preliminary digging of the soil with the simultaneous introduction of organic fertilizers in the form of carefully rotted manure. Seedlings are planted in beds with a distance between plants of at least 30 cm, and the aisles are left at least 50 cm. You can also use a 50 x 50 cucumber planting scheme. Planting 4 bushes per 1 sq. M. Is considered optimal. m.
Caring for the planted hybrids of Zyatek f1 cucumbers, as well as for a similar variety called Mother-in-law f1, is not difficult. Even a novice gardener will master it.
To carry out the necessary maintenance during cultivation, you should regularly water the soil on which the cucumbers grow. This should only be done with settled warm water. It is advisable to carry out this process either early in the morning or before sunset.
It is advisable to huddle bushes to help the formation of new roots. In addition, it will protect against the occurrence of fungal diseases. Cucumbers planted in the beds are fed twice a month with a complex of mineral fertilizers.
To facilitate harvesting and in order not to injure the thin stems of the plant, tying to the trellis is carried out. As the stems grow, their growth is directed to the nets placed along the row. If the stems are very long, you can help them stay on the trellis by tying them in several places to an upright net.
The formation of the bush is carried out by pinching the stems on which the ovary has not appeared. This is done after the lash has grown to 50 centimeters long. Subject to the basic rules for growing cucumbers Mother-in-law and Zyatek, you can get up to 10 kg from 1 sq. m.
