Making Sunberry wine at home is not as difficult as it seems at first glance. Sunberry is a black nightshade. It is identical in size to a cherry, but visually resembles a blueberry. It is grown even in Russian gardens quite simply, since it is distinguished by its unpretentiousness and minimal susceptibility to the climate. Wine from these berries comes out not only tasty, but also medicinal.

It is possible to prepare tasty and safe wine from black nightshade only using a certain technology. It will not work to use the one that is usual for ordinary grapes. Wine yeast, which is often used to make alcoholic beverages, is not used here. But in this case, the berries cannot be washed - they will preserve the natural microflora that is on the skin, which will contribute to the start of the fermentation of the drink.

Sometimes, if fermentation does not occur, you can add a little raisins (a handful of about 40-50 grams is enough). If the raisins do not help, then bread yeast is added. Of course, they will spoil the taste a little, it will be like adding a little hops to the wine.

To prepare a homemade alcoholic drink, take a cylinder from 10 to 15 liters. The composition should be filled with a maximum of a third of the total volume. If you pour more, it is likely that the mixture will overflow during fermentation.

The neck of the jar is closed with a special stopper that can let in carbon dioxide, which is certainly released during the fermentation process. Simple recipe

To make black berry wine by the simplest method, you need a 10 liter bottle. Sunberry is prepared in the usual way: it is simply pushed through with a wooden crush until juice appears. Ingredients are taken as follows:

  • 3.5 kilograms of Sunberry;
  • 3 kilograms of granulated sugar;
  • 7-8 liters of water.

Transfer the transferred food to the bottom of an enamel container. Add sugar, mix everything thoroughly until completely dissolved. Then pour the water so that it fills one third of the original container volume. It is not required to make a sourdough or wort separately.

The container is covered with a special water seal, or an ordinary rubber glove is put on. Readiness is checked by the amount of carbon dioxide emitted. As soon as this has stopped, then the wine can be poured into jars and put to ferment in a dry, cool and dark room. This usually only happens after a month.

Apple variant

And this wine is usually rich, tasty, rather sweet. You will need to take:

  • 1 kilogram of sunberry;
  • 2 kilograms of apples (always sweet, with a slight sourness);
  • 3 kilograms of granulated sugar;
  • water.
