Instructions for the use of the fungicide Bizafon, composition and consumption rate
Systemic fungicide Baizafon protects plants from a wide range of fungi. The preparation in powder form must be dissolved in water before use. Fungicide is used to protect and treat plants (cereals, vegetables, melons, and fruits) at the initial stage of infection. After treatment with a fungicidal solution, the phytopathogen dies within 24 hours.

Composition, form of release and purpose of the product
Bizafon is a contact-systemic fungicidal agent that is used to protect and treat plants from a wide range of pathogens of fungal diseases. The drug is effective at an early stage of infection. The fungicide can be used to protect grapes from powdery mildew and gray mold. Baizafon is used for the prevention and treatment of vegetables, melons, fruit, grain crops from powdery mildew, rust, septoria, spotting.
The fungicide contains an active substance - triadimefon. This component acts on fungi resistant to phenylamides, benzimidazoles. Baysafon is produced in the form of powder, packaged in plastic bags weighing 1 kilogram.
A solution is prepared for processing plants. Water is mixed with powder in the proportion indicated in the instructions. Plants are sprayed with the solution during the growing season. The active substance penetrates the plant through the leaves and roots and suppresses the development of pathogens.
How does a fungicide work?
The active substance - triadimefon - affects the synthesis of ergosterol, prevents the formation of pathogen cell membranes. When used prophylactically, it stops the penetration of infection into the plant. At the initial stage of infection, the fungicide inhibits the development of fungi, spores and mycelium. The death of the pathogen inside the leaf occurs several hours after treatment with the drug.
The active substance prevents the germination of conidia on the surface of the leaf, slows down the growth of mycelium, and prevents the formation of spores. The period of protective action is 1-2 weeks and depends on weather conditions, the degree of infection. Bizafon has a prophylactic, therapeutic and antisporulant effect.
Advantages and disadvantages
Benefits of using a fungicide:
- has a protective and therapeutic effect;
- stops the disease 5 days after infection;
- increases the content of chlorophyll, xanthophyll, carotenoids in the leaves;
- after treatment, the culture becomes resistant to damage by phytopathogens;
- increases frost resistance and drought resistance of crops;
- can be used 1 to 4 times per season (at intervals);
- not phytotoxic;
- not dangerous for birds and useful entomofauna.
Minuses:
- does not inhibit the germination of conidia and rust spores;
- requires several treatments.
Dosage of the product for different types of crops
Fungicide application rules:
- For grapes. It is used for powdery mildew, gray rot. Processing is carried out before and after flowering. The interval between spraying is 10-15 days. For 10 liters of water, you need 3 grams of the drug.
- For tomatoes and cucumbers. From powdery mildew. Spraying is carried out before and after flowering. For 10 liters of liquid, take 5-6 grams of the drug.
- For watermelons and melons. From powdery mildew. Fungicide consumption is 3-5 grams per 10 liters of liquid.
- For apple, raspberry, peach and plums. From scab, powdery mildew, fruit rot, perforated spot, monilial burn. The consumption rate of the fungicide is 2-5 grams per 10 liters of liquid.
How to prepare a working solution
The fungicidal mixture must be prepared in a plastic bucket or canister. To prepare the solution, do not use water with organic impurities and mineral particles. The powder is poured into the liquid, after which the mixture is stirred for 15 minutes.
During processing, the solution must be stirred from time to time so that it is constantly homogeneous.
The working mixture is prepared only on the day of spraying the plants. For 10 liters of liquid, take 2-10 grams of the drug (per one hundred square meters).
Further use of the finished solution
The solution prepared according to the instructions should be irrigated with a sprayer. Treatment is recommended in dry and calm weather, in the morning or in the evening, in the absence of rising air currents.
Affected plants are sprayed at the initial stage of the disease, but not during the flowering period. Crops can be processed 1-4 times per season. An interval of 15-25 days is observed between sprays. The last processing is carried out 20-30 days before harvesting.
Safety in use
Fungicide Bizafon belongs to the 3rd hazard class. It is necessary to work with the drug in a protective suit, mask and rubber gloves. Pregnant women, children under 18 and persons with medical contraindications are not allowed to work.
Do not drink, smoke, or eat while processing plants.
After working with the drug, you need to wash your hands and face with warm water and soap, rinse your mouth with a soda solution.
Toxicity degree
Bizafon belongs to hazard class 3 drugs. This is a moderately dangerous compound. You need to work with him in a respirator. Do not inhale vapors of working solution. The prepared mixture is forbidden to be taken orally. In case of poisoning, you need to induce vomiting and rinse the stomach with a soda solution. The drug has an insecticidal effect on the larvae of leaf beetles eating the treated foliage.
Possibility and risks of resistance
Bizafon has a protective and healing effect. One treatment is enough to stop the development of the infection. Found strains of pathogens of cereal powdery mildew, sufficiently resistant to triadimefon.
Compatibility
Bizafon is compatible with some pesticides. The drug can be used with other effective fungicides, insecticides and acaricides for complex treatment of plants.
Storage rules
You need to store the fungicide in its original sealed packaging, at temperatures from 0 to 25 degrees above zero. The storage room must be protected from moisture, sunlight. It is recommended to keep the drug out of the reach of children. The fungicide must be used within 3 years from the date of manufacture.
