Composition and form of release of the fungicide "Profit Gold"
"Profit Gold" consists of 2 active components of systemic and contact action. Each of them complements and enhances the influence of each other, protecting plants both from the inside and outside. It is produced in the form of water-dispersible granules and is packaged in bags of 5, 6 and 1.5 g.
Properties and action
The presence of two components in the drug allows it to cover two directions of action. The first active ingredient, cymoxanil, seeps under the outer layer of woody tissue, cleans the affected areas from fungal formations and prevents the subsequent development of this disease.
The second component, famoxadone, destroys the fungus along with the spores formed on the surface.
In a humid environment, the substance creates a protective stretch film. Thus, the area of action of the drug is increased by spreading to places that have not been treated or that have arisen during the period of development and growth. Famoxadone is able to destroy the fungus at the cellular level, it is also effective against its spores.
What diseases does the drug fight against?
"Profit Gold" destroys the simplest microbes that cause fungal diseases, including those resistant to other agents. The product is intended for use on any non-flowering plants.
The fungicide is intended for use on:
- indoor plants;
- flowers suffering from septoria;
- strawberries to combat brown spot;
- various plantings infected with powdery mildew;
- onion - effectively fights against peronosporosis;
- grapes - helps against mildew;
- tomatoes - from late blight and stem rot;
- potatoes for Alternaria and anthracnose;
- beets.
Advantages and disadvantages of the tool
Fungicide has many benefits:
- does not harm the inhabitants of reservoirs, animals and people;
- moisture and rain can only enhance the effect of the product;
- does not wash off in the rain;
- protects new leaves from diseases;
- quickly acts on the causative agent of the disease and does not allow it to spread on the site.
The main disadvantage of the fungicide is that it is most effective only in wet, cool weather. Profit Gold also treats a limited number of fungal diseases and is used for a limited number of crops.
How many treatments can be carried out
Since this fungicide is not able to accumulate in the treated crop, it is used up to 4 times in one season. An exception is the vine, which should not be sprayed more than 3 times. It is also not recommended to treat it during the ripening of the bunches or during the flowering period. Spraying is performed no more than 2 weeks later. If necessary, the waiting period can be reduced to 8 days.
Application rates
For processing nightshades, dissolve 6 g of the substance in 10 l of water. The more severely the plant is affected, the less water should be added. For preventive measures, take 10 liters, and with significant damage - 5 liters. The finished solution is enough for 1 hundred square meters.
Fungicide is also recommended to be used to treat grapes from mildew: 6 g of the product is added to 15 liters of water. This solution will be enough to process 1.5 acres of plantings.
To spray indoor flowers, dilute 1-2 g of the drug in 1 liter of water. The amount depends on the type of plant and the severity of the infection.
Instructions for use
Usually, the first spraying is carried out for the purpose of prophylaxis in order to prevent the onset of the disease. If the slightest signs of fungal infection began to appear on the plants, do not think that everything will go away by itself.
In the southern regions, tomatoes are treated with the Profit Gold fungicide against late blight after planting the plant in open ground.
It is necessary to wait for the sprouts to take root. In the northern regions, processing is done in the second half of June. During this period, the fungus begins to actively reproduce and causes serious harm to the plant.
Potatoes from late blight are sprayed when the foliage in the row has not yet closed into a solid carpet. The onion is sprayed when its feather has grown in height by 10 cm.If the manifestation of the disease is detected earlier, and the leaves are gray, the plant begins to heal earlier.
The grapes must be processed before they bloom. Its foliage should be finally formed by this time.
Re-processing is recommended in the absence of wind, on dry days, in the evening or early morning, before dew appears on the foliage. The drug should be diluted in a glass and filtered. Then pour the substance into the sprayer and add water.
The treatment is carried out so that the preparation is evenly distributed on the leaves on both sides. Do not allow drops to form and run down to the ground.
Precautions
In terms of harm to humans, the drug is classified as hazard class 3. Therefore, before starting the treatment of plants, it is necessary to observe the prescribed precautions. The container for preparing the solution is thoroughly washed.
It is strictly forbidden to use it for other purposes, including cooking.
The package, which contained the product, should be burned. The work is performed in a special suit. You should also protect your face and other exposed areas of your body, including your hands.
Wash clothes after processing plants. Do not smoke, drink or eat while spraying. If somehow the drug has got into the stomach, you must immediately induce vomiting and immediately go to the hospital.
If spraying is carried out without wearing safety goggles, droplets of the substance may enter the eyes. In this case, you should urgently wash your hands and eyes using clean running water.Then go to the doctor, because the agent can cause a chemical burn. It can be very harmful to your eyesight.
It is forbidden to consume fruits that have recently been sprayed with the Profit Gold fungicide. It is necessary to wait 7-14 days until the substance is removed.
Compatibility with other agrochemicals
The manufacturer advises against combining Profit Gold together with other fungicides. You can combine it with stimulants and growth regulators that do not consist of alkali. It can be: "Ribav-extra", "Tsikron", "Epin".
Storage of the fungicide
Fungicide can be stored for 2 years under almost any temperature conditions. However, the packaging must be intact so that moisture does not penetrate the granules. The finished mixture is not suitable for storage. It does not lose its properties for only a couple of hours. This time is quite enough to manage to spray the required area. If there are residues, they must be disposed of in a place that is inaccessible to animals and people.
Equivalent means
A good analogue of the fungicide "Profit Gold" is "Thanos". The same action is characterized by "Ridomil" and "Ordan". They can be alternated with "Profit Gold" to increase the healing effect.
