Liana of medium length and climbing, with a large number of lateral shoots. When cultivated, it requires shaping and pinching. Ovaries with 2-3 female flowers are formed in the axils. When grown in a greenhouse, up to 3 cucumbers are formed from each sinus.
Cucumbers Director F1 have medium lumpy cylindrical fruits, elongated. The length is 9-12 centimeters. Diameter from 3 to 9 centimeters. Weight from 65 to 80 grams. The skin is dark green, thin. Subtle light stripes go from the flower. Pubescence is white.

Due to its excellent taste, it is intended for salad use, as well as salting, pickling and other types of preservation.

The ideal description of the variety for cultivation in greenhouses, greenhouses and outdoors, this is the "boss" among parthenocarpic cucumber, has many positive qualities.

- Powerful branchy plant.
- Long-term fruiting.
- Lying and transportable grade.
- Proven disease resistance.

- The possibility of getting a double harvest per season.
- Resistant to temperature extremes.
Growing
For growing cucumbers in a greenhouse, seeds are planted in the ground in a direct way - without seedlings. On the beds, in the northern regions, a seedling characteristic of planting is desirable - this way the harvest will come faster.
Preparing the soil for cucumbers consists in applying mineral fertilizers, digging the beds and watering with hot water. After the manipulations, the beds are covered with a film for 7 days. After the polyethylene is removed, rows or holes are formed, and the seeds are planted.
Director F1 cucumbers are planted in the greenhouse with seeds germinated in wet gauze. The air temperature in the room at night should not be lower than +14 degrees. Daytime air temperature should be kept within 22-27 degrees. The soil in the beds is pre-fertilized with mineral mixtures - chicken manure, compost or cow dung.
Seeds are planted in a checkerboard pattern or in a row, with a row spacing of 50 centimeters.
Cucumber care
During growth, cucumbers are fertilized up to 7 times. 3 times before flowering and 4 times during picking. Thus, the harvest will be stored for a long time and will delight gardeners with excellent taste.
The following are used as fertilizers for cucumbers:
- urea,
- ammonium nitrate,
- superphosphate,
- potassium nitrate,
- manure,
- chicken droppings,
- wood ash,
- humus,
- compost.
These fertilizers are used alone or in combination with each other. An excess of feeding is as dangerous as a lack. Therefore, you need to adhere to the generally accepted rules for feeding cucumbers.
Weeding is just as important for a good harvest as any other manipulation. After watering, the soil around the plants is loosened. This is done to maintain soil moisture and reduce water consumption for irrigation.
Bush formation
Indeterminate varieties of cucumbers Director F1 require the formation of a whip, if growth is not stopped, the green mass will fill the entire greenhouse, and the harvest will be small.
For this manipulation, we count 8 leaves and pinch off the top, we do this with the stepsons. When a bush is formed into two and three stems, the main bush is pinched until the desired length is reached, and the three stepsons are released. The rest are removed. In greenhouses, the vertical method of growing is used, the stem is tied to a crossbar. Thus, access to bushes and fruits will not be limited.
Disease prevention
To prevent infection of the bushes with infections, seeds and soil are disinfected with a solution of potassium permanganate before planting. To detect diseases in greenhouses, plants and fruits are constantly examined for dark spots, rot and other manifestations of fungal infections. If detected, plants and soil are treated with fungicides. The measure will stop the spread of infection and save the crop.
