To make a small amount of a product, no special equipment is required. However, it must be borne in mind that a lot of milk is wasted during the processing. The main stages of preparing a creamy product:
- The milk is kept in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours so that the cream forms on the surface of the liquid.
- The cream is collected in a separate container, carefully separating from the milk. The optimum temperature for whipping cream is 8-10 ° C.
- Using a mixer, whip the cream until the desired quality is obtained.
The amount of collected cream directly depends on the fat content of the milk.As a rule, 0.5-0.7 liters are collected from a three-liter bottle of cream. Since the cream stays well in the refrigerator, it is advisable to collect it for several days (if the farm has few goats). Approximately 150 grams of butter is obtained from 1.5-2 liters of cream.
To get a more dietary product at home - ghee, a different technology is used. The main stages of the process:

- Water is poured into a spacious saucepan and a container is placed in it so that a water bath is obtained.
- The dishes are put on a small fire. To make the products slowly heat up and not burn, the fire is made small.
- The product is boiled until stratification: whey settles at the bottom of the melted liquid, and a little foam forms at the top.
The melted mass is removed from the steam bath and left to cool in room conditions (for about 2-3 hours). Then the oil is carefully filtered - taken out with a spoon and put on a sieve or mesh.

The taste of the products can be influenced by the conditions of the animals. Only if you follow the standards for caring for goats and ensure proper nutrition, you can get tasty dairy products. When preparing oil at home, it is necessary to carefully drain the whey, otherwise, over time, it is this liquid that can give the product an unpleasant taste and smell.
