Description of the tomato variety Kriviansky, features of cultivation and care
Tomato Krivianskiy f1 belongs to hybrid varieties of early ripening. The first fruits are removed on average after 90-95 days. The description speaks of a small growth of shoots, since the average height of the bushes reaches 120 cm.After reaching this indicator, the growth of tomato bushes stops.
The stems are distinguished by their power, great thickness, the plant is distinguished by a developed strong rhizome. Thanks to this feature, the variety is one of the few varieties of hybrids that can withstand high temperatures for a long time in hot weather with insufficient rainfall and watering.
The leaf plates of the plant are standard, medium-sized and dark green in color. A distinctive quality of the bushes is the presence of a pleasant spicy aroma.
Distinctive qualities of fruits
The characteristics of the variety emphasize the peculiarity of the plant's fruit in the form of teaching practically calibrated tomatoes. Krivianskie tomatoes are small in size and the average tomato ranges from 150 to 200 grams. The fruit is characterized by a rounded shape and a small pointed nose stands out in the lower part of the fruit. The color of vegetables is even, bright scarlet, without the presence of green areas at the base and peduncle.
Tomatoes have a fairly dense pulp structure, which at the same time is distinguished by good juiciness and rich tomato aroma. Due to the thickness and hardness of the skin, vegetables are well stored, able to withstand light impacts and difficult transportation conditions.
The advantage of the variety is its excellent ability to tolerate difficult growing conditions and the presence of immunity to almost all varieties of tomato diseases of infectious and fungal origin. Even when growing in imperfect conditions, the yield of tomato fruits reaches from 1 m² from 19 to 20 kg.
Growing recommendations
The variety is grown in seedlings. The planting material does not need additional pre-sowing treatment, so disinfection and impregnation of seeds with a nutrient solution is carried out by the manufacturer.
The recommended time for planting operations is March-April. Planting time is determined individually, depending on the climatic conditions of the area and the desired harvest period. The advantage of seeds is almost 100% germination rate.
Saplings are planted 56-60 days after the first shoots appear. Before transplanting into open ground, the soil must be pre-treated. It is recommended to enrich it with the following components:
- peat;
- ash;
- charcoal;
- organic fertilizers.
It is advisable to spill the hole with a solution of potassium permanganate immediately before planting the seedling to protect the roots from rodents and insects. The best predecessors are squash and cucumber crops, carrots, cauliflower, parsley and dill.
It is recommended to adhere to a planting scheme of 50 by 40 or 40 by 40. There should be from 7 to 9 bushes per 1 m².
The plant needs to be provided with a garter, since under the weight of the tomato, the shoots begin to sag and break. During the season, monthly feeding is required, otherwise the yield indicator decreases significantly. It is recommended to adhere to the alternation of chemical and organic fertilizers.
The fruits of this tomato are not very large, but very juicy and sweet. I love this variety, for the last few years I have only grown it. I use top dressing BioGrow, I like it the most.
