Productivity, characteristics and description of the tomato variety Kubyshka

General description of the variety
Raspberry Kubyshka tomatoes bear fruit well in greenhouse conditions and open ground. Its characteristic favorably distinguishes the plant among its relatives:
- mid-season, the maximum ripening period is up to 115 days;
- determinant bushes;
- undersized, the maximum height of the bush is 75 cm;
- well withstands transportation and storage;
- has an intermediate inflorescence;
- not whimsical;
- high yield, maximum crop weight from 1 sq. m reaches 9 kilograms;
- well tolerates heat, cold and high importance;
- resistant to most diseases of the nightshade family.
The plant has a strong stem with large green leaves. Description of fruits:
- rounded, slightly flattened shape;
- fleshy;
- not large, the weight of one tomato does not exceed 200 grams;
- dense;
- ribbed;
- has a sweet taste;
- when ripe, the fruit is red or crimson.
The versatility of the variety made it possible to grow it in different regions of Russia. You can meet Kubyshka tomatoes in the rainy Leningrad region, the cool Vladimir and hot Krasnodar regions. It is successfully grown by residents of Estonia, Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan. Subject to the rules of care, the variety, regardless of the place of cultivation, shows a stable good yield.
Care and growing recommendations
For the best yield, the plant should be grown in seedlings. The seeds can be planted as early as February. Planting depth in the soil is no more than 2 cm. The seedlings need regular watering and a light source. If the windows face south, the seedlings can be safely grown on the windowsill.
Planting recommendations:
- harden the tomato 7-10 days before the date of the proposed planting;
- have no more than 6 plants on an area of 1 sq. meter;
- pour ash or complex fertilizer into the planting holes.
Important! The variety requires pinching, it is optimal to form one stem.
During the next two months of tomato growth, care rules must be followed:
- regular watering, at least once a week in cold regions;
- loosening;
- weeding;
- top dressing, up to 6 times during the summer season;
- if necessary - a garter at the last stages of berry ripening.

Good afternoon! I want to share my experience in growing tomatoes of the Kubyshka variety. One of the most unpretentious and productive species that I know.Confidently withstood the cool Moscow summer. No special fertilizers or insecticides had to be used. Enough watering, four additional feeding and periodic loosening. The berries have grown fleshy and sweet. Good for canning. I took some of the tomatoes green, ripened perfectly at home. They were stored for a long time, until the beginning of November they made a salad with them. I managed to make some tomato puree for my grandson. The child was satisfied. I advise the variety!

It is not the first year that I have been listening to positive feedback from neighbors about the yield of the tomato variety Kubyshka. For the first time I decided to plant tomatoes. The Leningrad Region is not a place with the most fertile soil and favorable climate. The variety endured high humidity and temperature drops. Gathered an excellent harvest, 15 kilograms of tomato from the garden. Liked the sweet taste. The variety is suitable for canning and as an ingredient in vegetable salads.
