The Teremok apple tree does not differ in increased frost resistance, however, it managed to gain wide popularity among amateurs and professional gardeners. Beautiful large fruits with excellent taste, as well as undemanding care have made it a real favorite in some regions.
Description of the Teremok apple tree
The Teremok apple variety allows you to harvest fruits exactly by the beginning of autumn. A tree of medium height with a flat-round crown. The crown is not prone to thickening, but the main branches in relation to the trunk are located quite widely. Fruits are formed on ringlets or annual growths. Abundant flowering occurs in mid-May. The variety is partially self-fertile, however, in the presence of a number of pollinators, the yield increases several times. Teremok is a fast-growing variety; on a medium-sized rootstock, it begins to bear fruit already in the third year after planting. A mature tree gives 40-50 kg of high quality harvest.
The weight of one apple reaches 200 grams. The shape of the fruit is conical, the symmetry is slightly broken. The skin color is distinguished by a beautiful red-orange blush located around the entire perimeter of the fruit.
The harvested crop is suitable for long distance transportation. It is consumed fresh and used to make juices.

The Teremok apple variety is the result of many years of work by domestic scientists, employees of the Institute of Horticulture of the UAAS. The tree was obtained by crossing a well-known hybrid with excellent characteristics 25/2-D and the equally popular Grieve Rouge variety. In 1999, this variety was brought to the attention of gardeners in Polesie and the forest-steppe zone of Ukraine, where it began to be successfully cultivated.

- excellent commercial qualities;
- increased resistance to fungal diseases;

Dimensions of an adult tree
Teremok belongs to medium-sized varieties of apple trees, so its maximum height reaches 5 meters. On a rootstock, this figure does not exceed 3 meters. The tree grows quickly, tends to lose its main conductor, so the lower branches hang down a little.

Fruiting frequency and yield
Apple trees of the Teremok variety bear fruit consistently, annually. Upon reaching the age of five, the tree is capable of producing a crop of 12 kg. From an adult plant, up to 60 kg of fruits with high marketable and taste qualities are harvested. Harvesting lasts from early to mid-September. Apples do not lose marketability and taste in storage within a month, and in the refrigerator - three times longer. It is important that the fruits are not overripe. Otherwise, they will retain their external characteristics, but the structure of the pulp and taste will be spoiled.
Fruit assessment
The pulp of Teremok apples is very tender, tasty, juicy, has a pleasant, but not strong aroma. In the context, it has a beautiful yellowish color. The taste of apples is sweet and sour; tasters rated it at 4.2-4.5 points. The fruit is great for making apple wine.
Winter hardiness

The Teremok apple tree is suitable for growing in climatic conditions of the middle zone. In this case, it is better to give preference to clonal rootstocks, which can not only give an earlier harvest, but also limit the height of the plant. Most often, gardeners choose medium-sized or dwarf options.
