Description of the tomato variety Emperor, features of cultivation and care
Tomato Emperor f1 or Empire Chu-Fu is the result of the selection of Chinese scientists and belongs to tall varieties of early ripening fruit with good yield. The average time for obtaining the first harvest of fruits is from 95 to 100 days. The plant belongs to an indeterminate species and has a high growth of bushes, the height of which reaches 1.8-2 meters.
A distinctive quality of the plant is the ability to easily tolerate temperature changes and frequent changes in weather conditions. Cultivation can be carried out both outdoors and in closed greenhouses.

Tomatoes have gained popularity due to their ability to be used raw and in the preparation of preparations, thanks to the delicious sugary pulp, cooked dishes acquire a special taste. The advantages of the variety include:

Features of fruits
The fruits of the Emperor Chu Fu tomato are large, the weight of one tomato reaches from 400 to 600 grams. Vegetables are characterized by a rounded flat shape and a bright reddish color. There is a slight sharpening at the bottom of the vegetable. During the period of final ripening, some fruits are able to acquire a slight shade of yellowness.
Large fruits are capable of acquiring a slight ribbing. Reviews of gardeners in Ukraine and Russia indicate that tomatoes have a watermelon taste and aroma.
The variety compares favorably with high yield rates. On average, one bush is capable of giving up to 9 kg of tomatoes. Thanks to their dense, strong skin, tomatoes do not crack, they are able to tolerate well the conditions of storage and transportation.
Care features
The plant is grown in seedlings. Sowing is carried out in the second half of February. It is recommended to pre-prepare the seeds by keeping the planting material in a solution of 2.5 liters of warm water and a teaspoon of baking soda. It is recommended to prepare the following soil composition for seeds:
- 10 pieces of land, including turf, sand, humus;
- 50 grams of superphosphate;
- 1 liter of wood ash;
- 50 grams of carbamide.
Cultivation is carried out at a temperature of 23-24 C, with a gradual decrease in the temperature regime closer to the moment of transplantation to a permanent place.
It is possible to plant seedlings after reaching a height of 3 cm. Until the moment of planting, it is recommended to carry out once within one week. More frequent watering can lead to the appearance of a black leg. The distance between each bush should be from 70 to 90 cm, and between the rows 1-1.5 meters is enough. The first watering is carried out 7 days after planting, for which only warm water is used.
Due to their high growth, adult bushes need additional support in the form of tying.
