Characteristics and description of the Bellefleur Bashkir apple variety, growing regions and winter hardiness

Bellefleur's ancestor was the popular Bashkir Handsome and apple tree Bellefleur Kitayka... But in the form in which the apple tree is grown now, it was obtained in 1991. Due to its unique properties, the plant quickly became popular among summer residents. And until now, many gardeners prefer to grow the Bellefleur apple tree.
Yield
Bellefleur Bashkir is notable for its high yield, and from one tree per season you can collect from 50 to 85 kg of ripe fruits.Apples are often used for sale because of their attractive appearance and shelf life.
In addition, apples can be transported over long distances. They do not deteriorate during transportation.
The fruits are firmly attached to the stalk and even during strong winds remain hanging on the branch. Harvesting begins from the last days of August. The harvested crop is stored until February.

- Apple moth (caterpillars get inside the apple, thus causing a carrion). To exterminate the insect, trees are sprayed during the flowering period, when the ovary reaches the size of a walnut. Parisian greens are used as a chemical. The substance is highly toxic.
- Apple aphid. To remove this insect, use a solution based on laundry soap, strong broth of tobacco, kerosene and wood ash.
- Scab. The first signs of scab on trees is the appearance of a gray-green bloom on the bark. To remove the disease, a solution of 2% Bordeaux liquid is used. Trees are treated in spring, until buds and shoots appear.
In addition to these diseases, gardeners are faced with hawthorn, fruit sapwood, silkworms and miner moths. Trees should be inspected regularly to prevent disease and insects.
