Tomatoes should be chosen medium-sized - Cream with a hard peel and dense pulp. For a recipe from green tomatoes, you should take almost white or slightly greenish fruits in a milky-waxy ripeness. Greener tomatoes can be bitter due to the presence of solanine in them.
Preparation of raw materials
Vegetables, herbs, laurel leaves are thoroughly washed in running water, allowed to dry on a cloth. If the existing tomatoes do not have a hard skin, then in the process of pouring the marinade it may burst - this spoils the appearance of the twist, although it does not affect the taste. To avoid this, you need:
- prick tomatoes at the point of attachment to the stalk with a toothpick;

How to prepare a container?
The best container for "drunk" tomatoes is glass jars of 1 and 1.5 liters. Covers are suitable for plastic, metal screwed and for a seaming machine, glass, with a closing mechanism. Clean the jars with baking soda powder, rinse in running water, sterilize in a water bath for 10 minutes. Other ways to sterilize glass containers:
- in the oven, on a baking sheet;
- in the microwave, at the maximum mode for 5-6 minutes.
During sterilization, 1/3 cans are filled with water.
Drunk Tomato Cooking Process
The whole process of spinning is simple, young housewives are quite capable of making conservation.
How many products to take per can of 1.5 liters:
- tomatoes - 600-700 grams;
- turnip onion - 1 piece;
- celery, tarragon, basil - 1 bunch each;
- clove spice - 2 buds;
- laurel leaf - 2 pieces;
- garlic cloves - 2 pieces;
- salt - 60 grams per 1 liter of water;
- sugar - 50 grams per 1 liter of water;
- acetic acid in a solution of 9% - 1 tablespoon;
- vodka - 1 tablespoon.
Place herbs and spices at the bottom of the disinfected container, fill it tightly with tomatoes. Prepare the marinade: add salt and sugar to boiling water. Add acetic acid and vodka at the end of the boil.
Pour the hot marinade pouring into the tomato jars with a small stream.
Boil water in a large saucepan, place jars with twists up to the shoulders, cover, bring to a boil, boil for 10 minutes. Roll up the cans, check the tightness by turning over, wrap them in a blanket and cool in this position.

Celery and onions are not added to green tomatoes. The rest of the components are the same.
- Put laurel leaf and garlic, spices on the bottom of the jars.
- Tamp the tomatoes tightly in a container.
- Add vodka, salt, sugar to the water for the marinade, after boiling, pour in 9% acetic acid.
- Pour the tomatoes with hot marinade.
- Boil the curls in a water bath for 5 minutes.
- Roll up the cans, cover with a blanket, let cool slowly.

How to store blanks?
